Poly Cotton Blend fabric. Pre-washed in Woolite, and dryer dried for shrinkage. This is a very interesting fabric. Colors include black, white, and a peachy cream. It's a vertical stripe, and also a plaid. Very lightweight fabric has subtle texturing.
I specifically searched for many hours, over many days, at many places, for lightweight cottons.
I've encountered several seniors recently, when shopping for groceries who weren't wearing a mask because of not being able to breathe through one. One day, I had on a paper mask, and I couldn't breathe through my nose! Plus, it was HOT on my face! I couldn't get out the store fast enough to remove that thing! (Funny, but TRUE!)
I made a different style mask for myself from this same fabric, and I found that I could breathe more comfortably with this fabric, than with the paper mask from my doctor's office, plus it TORE the same day.
I chose to start with this style mask because I could offer it more affordably than other styles.
The cost of supplies continues to rise, as well as the postal service rates. I have endeavored to make these masks low cost, not making a profit, because of dire need. Also, I have set shipping costs lower, not allowing for handling, or packaging costs. Pay the same postage, whether purchasing one mask, or a set of masks.
These are stressful times, many have lost loved ones, lost their jobs, their health, and other things we may not know about. You may be one of them. My heart goes out to all. Please stay safe, and call your loved ones DAILY!
